Façade facing the street, design
The building is situated in the ancillary street of one of the most active and attractive boulevards in the capital city, behind a patch of greenery featuring big trees. Constructed with a “Schüco” suspended façade toward the street, with excellent soundproofing, with bedrooms facing the yard, the building creates a convenient and tranquil residential comfort. There is one apartment on each floor. The details and the suspended façade toward the boulevard are made from glass in a greenish-blue hue, metal, and etalbond in a greyish colour. The use of only two colours creates a refined unity of the building, and the everyday play with the sunlight from early morning to late afternoon creates a dynamic and lively appearance.
The architecture is contemporary, modern, and consistent with the future development of the bustling central part in which the building is located. Toward the boulevard, a bay window is carried forward, which allows a panoramic view and lighting of the living area in all hours of the day. The interiors, implemented by design of the architects of the building, are in a complete unity with the overall style and character. Open spaces, glass, bright materials, and clear lines create a feeling of lightness and vastness.
During the design process of the building, places for the air conditioning units were designated on the rear façade, as well as tube connections for the living rooms. Tubes are also provided for the cable companies. Thus, there are no air conditioning units or cables on the front façade.
The glass canopy and the round decorative girders from stainless steel underline the individuality of the building, as well as the spirit and the character of the era in which it was created.
